Cap Seals: Advancap™, Ener-Cap®, Glidetec™
Greene, Tweed's Advancap™ seals are designed for use in rod- and piston-type systems where no backup ring is required. The Advancap operates with low friction, eliminates O-ring spiral failure, prevents extrusion and uses standard O-rings as energizers.

Greene, Tweed's Ener-Cap® is a self-actuating, pressure-activated hydraulic seal that combines low breakout and running friction with minimal leakage over an extended service life. Consisting of a PTFE full-width, cap-sealing element and an advance design elastomeric energizer, the Ener-Cap provides optimum radial squeeze, evenly distributed radial loading and a high degree of seal stability.

Greene, Tweed's Glidetec™ seals are designed for use in rod- and piston-type applications. Glidetec seals operate with low friction, install easily in compliant single-piece glands, perform in lubricated or nonlubricated systems, and provide long service life.
