The compression-activated RSA® Scraper by Greene, Tweed is designed for near-perfect contaminant exclusion in the most rugged service conditions. The RSA Scraper uses a rubber spring to maintain a constant radial compression that results in continual contact to both the rod and gland wall-even in extreme cold, under high linear speeds and during heavy side loading.
Avalon® Scrapers by Greene, Tweed provide excellent wear resistance, long life and the elimination of contamination. Greene, Tweed offers three primary Avalon Scraper series, and our design engineers work with customers to select the right scraper for each application need.
The Special Series self-venting, O-ring energized Scrapers from Greene, Tweed provides maximum exclusion capabilities when used in Type I or Type II gland configurations of SAE AS4088 and AS4052.
Greene, Tweed's 2270 Series Scraper is a heavy-section, O-ring energized, double-acting PTFE scraper, adapted for nonstandard glands. The 2270 Scraper offers a low-friction, bi-directional design that has fair ingression control and can be used as a secondary seal.
