Greene, Tweed's AGT® seal assembly handles a variety of sealing challenges without compromising - from landing gears, flight controls and actuators to hydraulic system applications. Made with a bidirectional rod or piston seal combined with a back-up ring, the AGT seal assembly offers an outstanding combination of easy installation, low leakage and long service life.
The AGT S+ ring, a high-squeeze seal, works efficiently and effectively in both high- and low-pressure static applications. The AGT S+ performs well in demanding applications including those influenced by low-pressure sealing, frequent cold temperature excursions, low-seal swell conditions and excessive hardware laydown or eccentricities.
The versatile bidirectional ACGT™-HP and unidirectional ACGTL™-HP are engineered to handle a broad range of temperature extremes and fluid media, as well as larger than normal clearance gaps. Because the sealing and anti-extrusion elements are separated, material selection can be targeted to deliver outstanding performance for each individual application.
