Allon Bloch | Chairman
As chairman of Greene Tweed, Allon Bloch has helped strengthen and focus the company to continue a long history of outperforming market growth. Recognized for his dynamic leadership and visionary guidance, he has held several leadership roles that have shaped the direction of both research and commercial functions since he joined in 2008.
Before being named chairman in September 2021, Allon was the executive vice president and led the flagship Chemraz® business that manufactures Greene Tweed’s highest-performing sealing solutions. During his tenure, the Chemraz business saw record revenue and profitability and launched several new initiatives to ensure it remains at the cutting edge for years to come. Prior to this role, he successfully led other product divisions, guiding their strategic expansion for the organization. Additionally, Allon serves as the CEO of Lancer Systems, a sister company of Greene Tweed.
He began his Greene Tweed career in Market Research, analyzing market trends and leading voice of customer gathering and synthesis in support of new product development initiatives across virtually all product lines. Prior to Greene Tweed, he worked at an investor relations advisory firm in New York City.
In addition to his corporate duties, his responsibilities as chairman encompass the establishment and operation of an outside advisory board, as well as overseeing the investment and diversification of Greene Tweed ownership’s family assets into areas beyond the existing operational entities and real estate holdings.
Born and raised in Lexington, Massachusetts, Allon studied economics at Tufts University and received his MBA from the Carroll School at Boston College.
Magen Buterbaugh | President and CEO
Magen Buterbaugh was appointed President and CEO of Greene Tweed in January 2023. A seasoned leader, with broad industry expertise, Magen has led multiple chemicals & materials-based businesses – spanning from startups to multibillion-dollar enterprises. She led and scaled new innovative research and development platforms and step-changed growth across multiple commercial organizations, while transforming organization effectiveness.
Known for her passion for chemicals and innovative materials, Magen’s leadership inspires Greene Tweed to continue to be the market-leading innovator in high-end elastomers, thermoplastics, composites, and sealing solutions.
Over her 20-year career, Magen has played a pivotal role in championing innovation and seizing opportunities for growth. Before joining Greene Tweed, Magen led the global commercial, product, technology, and regulatory affairs organizations at DCL Corporation, a global manufacturer and supplier of high-quality colored pigments for the coatings, plastics, and ink industries. Previously, Magen steered DuPont’s (and then subsequently Chemours) Global Fluorochemicals business. She held numerous other positions with DuPont leading cross-functional teams in various positions, including capital engineering, operations, strategic planning, commercial and business management roles across various business units.
Magen was recently appointed to the National Association of Manufacturers board of directors. She is also a member of the 2024-2026 cohort of Advancing Women Executives sponsored by McKinsey, an initiative to increase the portion of women in executive roles.
Magen holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from Widener University. She was named one of the 2020 Most Outstanding Engineering Alumnus of Penn State.
Jeremy Midwinter | Vice President & CFO
Jeremy Midwinter is the Chief Financial Officer, overseeing Greene Tweed’s global finance organization, including accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, and treasury functions. Beyond his financial purview, he is responsible for the company’s information technology organization, ensuring a seamless integration of business and digital strategies.
An integral part of the company’s executive leadership team since 2020, Jeremy plays a pivotal role in developing and executing the strategies driving Greene Tweed’s journey to sustainable growth and profitability. His multifaceted financial expertise has been instrumental in enabling the company to pioneer industry-leading practices in financial reporting, treasury services, data analytics, enterprise processes, governance policies, and standardization.
Commencing his Greene Tweed career as the Finance Controller in the UK, Jeremy moved to the US in 2014 assuming the role of Corporate Controller. During his 13 years as a finance leader at Greene Tweed, he has championed several groundbreaking initiatives, such as introducing a strategic focus on partnership and analysis between manufacturing finance teams and operations. Notably, in 2018, he played a pivotal role in implementing Integrated Business Planning.
Presently, he spearheads the organization’s digital transformation program, designed to redefine and standardize internal processes, optimize efficiency, and enhance customer experience. The organization-wide transformation initiative poised to create a connected enterprise and drive new ways of incorporating agility and scalability across the company’s three core anchor systems -- Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Engineering Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Jeremy has over 25 years of experience in building and leading finance teams in global companies, such as Saint Gobain Group, where he was the Finance Controller. Prior to Saint Gobain group, he worked for Capital One Bank.
Jeremy is a graduate of Bournemouth University and a chartered member of the Institute of Management Accountants.
Jenna Walker | General Counsel & Secretary
Jenna Walker was appointed General Counsel and Secretary of Greene Tweed in 2023. As the head of the global legal team, she oversees all legal matters, including commercial contracts and negotiations, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, licensing, employment, and corporate development.
An essential part of the company’s executive leadership team, Jenna serves as the strategic legal and business advisor to the senior leadership. Her legal acumen and strategic vision play a pivotal role in developing and executing advocacy strategies that prioritize innovation and global business growth.
A proven leader with a distinguished career spanning both private practice and in-house counsel across diverse industries, Jenna has represented global companies in multi-billion-dollar, complex litigations. Her expertise extends to leading negotiations for strategic in- and out-licensing deals and acquisitions valued at hundreds of millions of dollars. Before joining Greene Tweed, Jenna was Director of Transactions and Legal Affairs at Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc., and its affiliate Taro Pharmaceuticals. Prior to this, she worked at a global top 50 law firm and represented several private and public companies across industries, such as biotech, life sciences, medical devices, software, and manufacturing.
Jenna holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Duke University and a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University’s Charles Widger School of Law. An active member of the community, Jenna received the 2019 Philadelphia Attorney of the Year Award for outstanding achievements in pro bono service and chaired the Philadelphia Diversity and Inclusion Council in 2018 and 2019.
Justine Franchina | Chief Operating Officer
Justine Franchina was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Greene Tweed in January 2024. As COO, she oversees Greene Tweed’s global operations, including manufacturing facilities spread across three continents. She is accountable for the safety, quality, supply chain, procurement, continuous improvement, and engineering functions.
As an accomplished leader, Justine has over two decades of hands-on experience in driving operational excellence, improving safety and quality culture, supporting organizational and talent development, and fostering strategic growth across global manufacturing operations playing a pivotal role in driving productivity, growth, and profitability. Her background and knowledge in polymer science, materials, and organic chemistry along with strong execution has enabled a successful track record in the chemicals business.
Justine is an essential part of Greene Tweed’s executive leadership team and is instrumental in developing, shaping, and implementing strategies that will guide the diverse global Greene Tweed Operations team.
Prior to Greene Tweed, Justine held the position of COO at Ketjen, an Albermarle subsidiary and leading advanced catalyst solutions provider for refining, petrochemical, and specialty chemicals industries. In this capacity, she demonstrated leadership excellence, overseeing global manufacturing operations, procurement, supply chain, capital engineering, and process technology. Previously, she led global manufacturing and quality for Chem-Trend, a Freudenberg company that produces chemical release agents, which set the stage for her appointment as COO & Executive Vice President for Chem-Trend where she assumed global responsibility for eight manufacturing facilities. Before Chem-Trend, she worked for DuPont for 17 years, where her development and leadership journey spanned a myriad of progressive individual contributor and management roles across research & development, manufacturing technology management, global marketing, process development, strategic planning, and global quality. She served as the Global Manufacturing Technology Manager for DuPont’s Performance Materials business before departing in 2017.
Justine has a B.A. in Chemistry from Virginia Tech and a Ph.D. in Polymer Organic Chemistry from Texas A&M University and is also Six Sigma Black Belt Certified.
Shawn McCloskey | Chief Commercial Officer
Shawn McCloskey is the Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing Greene Tweed's Global Sales, Sales Support, Marketing, Sales Operations, Industry Strategies and Market Expansion teams. An integral part of the company’s executive leadership team, he is instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on strategic market opportunities and driving revenue growth and profitability. With a proven track record as an experienced builder of collaborative client partnerships, he fortifies the company’s market position and long-term customer loyalty.
Known for his dynamic leadership, Shawn has successfully guided cross-functional teams spanning Operations, Business, and Commercial verticals for over 16 years. Before Greene Tweed, he was Senior Business Director at The Chemours Company, where he managed Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, and Demand Management teams accountable for leading the overall strategy and business growth of the Thermal and Specialized Solutions (TSS) businesses across the Americas. His leadership journey is marked by a series of strategic positions, including Global Key Account Manager for Chemours’ largest commercial account.
During his tenure of over 12 years at DuPont and its spin-off, Chemours, Shawn demonstrated exemplary leadership, notably serving in leadership roles in Dupont’s Fluoropolymer Operations. Earlier, his visionary guidance as The Chemours Transformation Leader was instrumental in transitioning the company into a new independent entity, as he collaborated with the executive team on enterprise-wide cost-saving initiatives and strategic planning across various businesses.
Shawn began his career with Celanese as a Process Improvement Engineer and Operations Unit Manager after receiving his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech. He also holds an MBA from Ohio University, in addition to being proficient in Six Sigma & Lean methodologies.
