Greene Tweed Names Industry Veteran Justine Franchina as COO

LANDSDALE, PA -- February 14, 2024 – Greene Tweed, a leading global manufacturer of high-performance sealing solutions and engineered components, proudly announces that Justine Franchina has joined Greene Tweed as Chief Operating Officer.

An accomplished leader, Franchina brings a strategic perspective and over two decades of experience in driving operational excellence, improving safety and quality culture, supporting organizational and talent development, and fostering strategic growth across global manufacturing operations to her role as COO. Her appointment comes at a transformational period for Greene Tweed as the company pursues an ambitious business-wide initiative to significantly increase growth and expand its operational excellence.

Previously, Franchina held the position of COO at Ketjen, an Albermarle subsidiary providing advanced catalyst solutions provider to refining, petrochemical, and specialty chemicals industries. In this capacity, she led the global manufacturing operations, procurement, supply chain, CAPEX engineering, and process technology functions.

Prior to Ketjen, Franchina led global manufacturing and quality functions for Chem-Trend, a Freudenberg company focused on specialty chemicals prior to becoming COO & Executive Vice President with global responsibility, including eight manufacturing facilities. She began her career at DuPont, where over 17 years where her development and leadership journey spanned a myriad of progressive individual contributor and management roles across research & development, manufacturing technology management, global marketing, process development, strategic planning, and global quality.

Franchina has a B.A. in chemistry from Virginia Tech and a Ph.D. in Polymer Organic Chemistry from Texas A&M University.
